Bringing in the New Year

We brought in the new year with the Nitta family.

We ordered out Panda Express, played games, and talked our way into 2011.

If any of you know Kurt, you know that there will always be a "Kurt" game to be played when he's around.

We played the flour game.
The set up: you take a bowl, fill it up with flour, and flip it over onto a cookie sheet and remove the bowl. The flour should be molded to the shape of the bowl. You then a place an object on top of the flour. Something that one can fish out with their teeth. We used a ring.

The rules: Each person takes a turn and cuts off a piece of the "flour mold" with a butter knife. You take turns cutting the flour off until the object you placed on top falls. Once it falls the person who was cutting it at the time must fish the object out of the flour with their teeth.

We also played signs. Here Kurt just busted Sarah with the sign.

Here we are counting down to the new year. From the looks of it, they are on 8...7....
